Be Aware - Payment Scam
Members should watch out for correspondence arriving in the post headed 'searchforcompanies'. It looks very much like an invoice for payment of £312.48 to be made payable to Hansa Media Ltd and could easily be passed to a bookkeeper for payment. It's only when you get to the small print that you learn it is not a demand but an invitation to advertise your business online. It is a scam that has been around for quite some time but may be doing the rounds again.
